Only sound remains (2011) is a short film i designed, directed by Arash Ashtiani. In the wake of the violent post-election protests in Iran, a family tries to hide the news of the death of their youngest member from their grandmother. The film was nominated for a BAFTA award in the Short Film Category in 2012. It was Screened at Montreal Film Festival, Munich Film Festival and Sarajevo Film Festival.
